This is our slideshare presentation on costumes and locations, explaining our ideas, and our reasoning behind them.
The white room: This is our location when we switch to the performance part of the video and is perhaps the most important. A lot of the music video's length will take part here; the actor will be in full black, contrasting heavily against the colour of the room, connoting the binary opposites in place. However we will switch the clothing of the singer to white, to show he has had both good times and bad times. (when the singer switches clothing, the opposite happens for the band).
